Can't believe PnG is near the bottom of the reputations list. Even if you disagree with his opinion, it's always well thought out and articulate, and he never insults or abuses anyone despite a fair amount of provocation from certain posters.

Maybe it shouldn't be allowed for all users, clearly you guys can't be trusted to not abuse a system. I've temporarily changed it so you can't leave negative rep for people.

Plus, I can see who gives other members what kind of rep so don't be morans, please.

Tbh, rather than get in a public spat with someone, the inclination is to give negative rep - though you could always complement that with a public spat.

I think the whole thing should be scrapped - it is a system meant for a much larger Board. Here, pretty much everybody knows everybody and the reps will be dished out according to who gets on with each other, rather than for the purpose intended - whatever the actual purpose is on such a tiny board.

Also, the system is such that if I saw a great post made by someone who mainly posts wum dirge if I wanted to give him a positive rep for the good post, I'd then be prevented from dishing out a negative rep for the 7000+ crappy posts that inevitably follow.

On somewhere like Redcafe, where you need to have a measure of posters you may not be familiar with, the system would be great.

Nah i said If people are going to moan. Not really bothered by this system tbh. I love this board either way.
