We had our chances in the first half. Didn't take them. Van Persie has been cack recently. The ref was as shit as our finishing.
Didn't get bullied out of the game - we don't tend to these days. A couple of injuries and there's a distinct lack of quality. And when Wenger won't use the one player who is capable of making a difference off the bench, you have to write the game off.
The good thing is that there are only 2 games left. We're not still reliant on any slip-ups but I don't fancy us getting a win at West Brom on the last day.
The only team to watch out for is Tottenham. They'll beat Blackburn for sure but we need Bolton or Villa to take points off them when they travel there.
Hopefully from here on in Stoke away isn't seen with the trepidation that sometimes meets it. They can't play football. Just need to snap out of the habit of giving them the first goal. Today is fine, but it's the type of game we must be winning next season.
Foy was blatant, the twelfth man for them, a disgrace. Apart from that, poor performance from most of the lads, joke substitutions to add a bit of dark humour to a dour clogfest in which one team tried to play football and the other did everything in their power to stop that happening. Evidently the lowest form of pond life is native to stoke as evidenced by their crowd. sub-human garbage. Should have won it at a canter, just a bit of composure and thought would have done it. But careless again and more points have slipped away. Lucky the teams around us are shit.
