I work 4 on 4 off with edinburgh council. Ive been on annual leave and cocked up my return to work date. So i spun a yarn about travelling back late on saturday. Luckily i still have a load of holiday days lefy to take before October they had no problem giving me it off.Interesting. What do you do that you'd have to book a Sunday off?

I made a right bloody mess of the start of this world cup (work trip then a holiday) but got into it more in the group stages, it's helped that England have exceeded all reasonable expectations.
Going to see Paul Simon on Sunday so have made a mess of that too but he's on in the evening so I'm guessing they'll show it on the screens before.
I think i have only missed a handful of games, even though i said at the start i wasn't overly bothered. Now i cant wait for the new season. I might even try and find a way to watch our friendly at boreham wood on saturday lol
