    Bojack Horseman

NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

Under The Dome. Like Lost, but not as good. Not bad though, it's a load of nonsense but reasonably entertaining nonsense.

nder the Dome tells the story of the residents of the small town of Chester's Mill in Maine, where a massive, transparent, indestructible dome suddenly cuts them off from the rest of the world.
Isn't that the plot of The Simpsons Movie?

    Yep

The series is based on a Stephen King novel but that was published after the Simpsons Movie came out so maybe he nicked it

Sounds like Wayward Pines is going to very similar too, when that comes out next year?

Although the writer there is claiming Twin Peaks as his inspiration.

Speaking of which, Twin Peaks is back on SyFy Channel - still tears a strip off most of todays TV shows.

Also, don't bother watching Resurrection if you've been watching The Returned - nowhere near as good. If you haven't seen The Returned then it might be worth a look, but don't expect anything more than a bit of passable evening filler...

I didn't get round to watching it when they originally showed it last year, but BBC2 are currently repeating series 1 of Peaky Blinders and I must say, it is top quality.

I don't think there's much basis in reality here aside from the fact that there were gangs in Birmingham at the turn of the 19th century and the inconsistent, sometimes-veering-into-scouse- Brummie accents are funny, but other than that it's fantastic so far.

Cilian Murphy is great as usual, Sam Neill verges on camp but stays the right side of it during his quite brief appearances, it looks brilliant for a British production and it's more compelling than any other mega-budget gangster drama (contemporary or period) in recent years. Think Gangs Of New York set in 1919 Birmingham, but more subtle, better acted and more dense.

It should be up on the iPlayer for a few more days. Series 2 starts soon too.
