Just finished watching series 3 of Game Of Thrones.
My main question is: why is Davos Seaworth the only person with a Geordie accent in Westeros?

Also, I'm currently watching True Detective series 1 and it's brilliant. Even N_Q would find it difficult not to be impressed by it. In fact, it would probably be his second best programme after Sex And The City.
Matthew McCoughaghey's character and performance dominate everything. That's not to say the other elements of the show are disappointing, more that it's one of the most interesting and intense creations written for the screen and refreshing in a world where every other character has to be a sub-Sherlock Holmes loveable anti-hero.
The constant menace, otherworldly atmosphere, sudden bursts of vicious action and the generally superb writing are a bonus. Needless to say, a Must Watch™.
The Good Wife long since replaced Sex and the City as my favourite show, as well you know.
