Thought I'd give Sherlock a go. Big mistake. Annoying score that constantly pops up, no atmosphere, Cumberbatch just adding to his annoying real life, smug persona. No reason to give a damn about either of the characters, ropey performances and writing. It doesn't treat the audience with any intelligence either, especially with that ridiculous Sherlock Vision tripe. Feels like the typical wafer thin BBC drama without any substance. Pretty boring and totally forgettable.

Last Panthers tonight (Sky Atlantic) - something new to watch at last!
I never would have made it that far after seeing that first episode. I shouldn't be surprised that such mediocre shit has been praised to the hilt but even people with a brain recommended I give it a go. Just the same ole. I've retreated to the safety of a Sopranos rewatch, as I only joined it about 3/4 seasons in last time.
