    Yeah I don't really get it either. But £1 pints (American beer ) and pizza at uni so will be watching. Cricket from 6am with the England game in an interesting position.

    Sounds awesome. Our SU used to have late night sport events as well. The 2006 Ashes were good (obviously not the result) but they stayed open all night and everyone used it as an excuse to get hammered.

    Can't believe the Uni even sanctioned it tbh given attendence for lectures was very low the following days and those that did turn up often came straight from the bar.

    Closest we ever go to that was the Uni refectory showing the 2002 World Cup on a cruddy white portable, propped up on a chair by the drinks dispenser. I was the only one there watching Saudi Arabia - Cameroon

    Must be embarrassing for the NFL that that half time match is more popular than any Suprbowl match in history
