Walcott was awful and should have been subbed instead of Oxlade-Chamberlain. Rosicky came on and did sweet FA, which shows how weak our midfield options are, especially with Wilshere likely out for a long time. However, Wenger didn't see fit to add any new players during the transfer window, apart from another youngster for the future

we gave him 5 years of a youth project to get it right. he failed. not only did he fail, he made us the laughing stock of the league.

now he's bought experience, it still isn't working. players just aren't responding to him. players dont show urgency until 70th minute? who is to blame. the manager.

when you tell the press that '4th is ok' and '4th is a trophy', then players will relax and not take games seriously as they will be content with mediocrity.
