If RVP left, would people treat him as a **** , ie Nasri, or actually support him ?
I'd actually understand if he left now. He is in his best years now at being 28 and winning nothing now isn't going to help him. I'd rather see him prosper in a side like Real as opposed to being stuck in a drab as he is now being surrounded by crap players. He's won 1 trophy with Feyenoord (Uefa Cup) , but being with us also only one.

No unlike the Lesbian he has given all, could have asked for a move in the summer but he stayed and in the end he just could not do it all. He deserves some sucess and we won't have some for a while so good luck to him.
I wouldn't blame him for leaving. But I would rather him stay and cement his place as a club legend. I want what is best for Van Persie, but I want what is better for Arsenal more. As the only remaining proven-quality player, if he decided to stay and skipper the club for the next 5 years through the lows - through Wenger leaving - and through a change of manager, it would make him a giant of a man in my eyes.

If he wants to win trophies in his career he has to leave and he will leave. He has given everything to the club this season so he's playing fair. We stuck by him, within reason. He has stuck by us, within reason. But things are unreasonable now. Now serious footballer would want to be at this club for any reason other than to use it as a stepping stone or see out a career if nobody else is interested. There will be plenty of interest in RvP, primarily from our board of course, but also by teams who can win trophies. I just hope he does us a favour and leaves the country. It would e hard to see him playing for Shitty or Utd.

No not really. He's seen enough summers pass here to be desperate to see through another one. Opportunity to play with better players on a more lucrative contract. Blaming the player's not the answer here. Get the feeling he's a purist though, and he'd rather not go to certain clubs. But that's just an impression.
