He has failed a drugs test, twice!
Most of them around that time were drug cheats. He's kind if carrying the can for a lot of cheats, discovered and undiscovered. He should have been banned for life, but if justice was applied evenly it would have meant banning half the registered athletes in the world. That's why this Russia ban is such a hypocritical farce. Biggest drug cheats since the East Germans and Chinese is easily the yanks. Their coaches made an art of taking the risk, taking the ban or taking the plaudits if they got away with it. Gatlin is an honours graduate of that system. Everyone focusing in on him is pretty convenient for the Americans and their rotten history of doping. Britain not much better btw.
