Please Help - Slough Town FC online petition

Hello All,

Please help Slough Town FC in our bid to return to Slough. We have now been playing outside of the town for 10 years and play in the 8th tier of Eglish football. Before our ground issues started we were riding high in the Conference and have aspirations of returning their one day but first we need to be playing in our own town.

We have over the last 5 years been working closely with the council on a site that would provide much needed housing and sporting facilities for all including football, boxing and gym type facilities.

However, due to a more affluent areas residents opposing a school as they "do not want their village ruined" the government have now written to our council demanding our site be used. We are not against the school at all but we want the council to be able to do their job (apparently there are upto 20 other sites that can be used for the school) without government intervention that completely disregards the hard work and the amount of money that has been put into teh project.
