Was funny watching Sky's flashback to 2006 and the 'Lassagne' final game.

What struck me was the quality of that Arsenal team!! Sol, Henry, Pires, Cesc, Cashley etc and we went into the final day one point behind Spurs!! WTF!! Makes this current squad's achievements look monumental!!

Who finished above us that season?? Why were we so shit even with those players??

It wasn't that long ago but I can hardly remember that season other than it being our last one at Highbury.

Chelsea, United and Liverpool were above us, by some distance as well.

That was a weird season, we just packed up the league completely and put all our energy into the CL run.

Sol went mental, Pires got old, Cashley wanted out and Cesc was a nipper. Henry was a beast though as you'd expect, pretty much RVC'd us over the line.
