He was born, raised and trained in England, he's more English than most of the England team.

Superb by the Indians. Had a very difficult job batting first in a 20 over game. Dhawan's wicket, for example, was purely claimed by the rain. The best batsman from either team by a mile, Kohli, saved the day with some valuable runs. And thn India followed up well as they're used to playing pressure cricket. Dont think anyone would argue India weren't the best team throughout the tournament and a class above the rest.

Maybe, but I think there's a worrying future issue to contend with in that India are becoming such a dominant financial powerhouse in world cricket and the game needs/wants them to be successful for commercial reasons. Probably just a bad call in this instance.

Yup, now they've eliminated the lazy ego-laden superstars and worked on their fielding they're a formidable outfit.

Broad got away with a dodgy no ball against NZ, but that was similar in that it was a close one that could have gone either way.

And in this game there was a similar incident with Broad being stumped but being given not out. If the 3rd umpire was pro India he should have given him out as well, at least he would have been consistent.

Watched the highlights this morning cos yolo and the final ball is hilarious. Broad tries to run 6 and Tredwell walks off the field.
