I use to post on 606 under the name 'Singh' a decade ago. Since then I've only been on AHFC so any other Singh is a different dude.

I'm dying to hear people's views on Wenger now. We've just had our best calendar year since 2002. Many people said we'd never be great again with Wenger at the helm. I wonder if there's a hint of optimism even among the stanchest of those who wanted him out.
Obviously a few good months doesn't cancel out 8 years of failure, and there's always the chance that we will get found out in the big games, but I think we have more reason to be optimistic than we have had in a very long time.
There's also an argument that the past 8 years could have been a necessary evil, with Ozil being our glaring sign that times are changing, and Wenger's ship has weathered the storm without suffering too much damage practically.
Not sure I should really respond to that in here.....? We do have enough alternative threads for this discussion!
