Here's where I am.
in 2016, Government were given a mandate to negotiate a withdrawal from the EU.
Almost 3 years later, the withdrawal has been negotiated. That withdrawal agreement was heavily rejected.
In my opinion, that ends the mandate. Unless that agreement can be changed enough to get through Parliament, that's it, we remain where we are.

I think Leavers would argue, with some justification, that the mandate was simply to leave the EU.
What that looks like, as we've discussed, was not outlined.
So I don't think it does end the mandate, the only thing which would is a second referendum.
Parliament have already said that "no deal" is out of the question, and May's deal was heavily rejected.
There's nothing else left.

I'm not sure Parliament have said that no deal is out of the question, have they?
There's been no vote on that, in fact that is the default position if we don't come to a deal.

But at least we've got our country back.
