My opinion of her is dimming by the day.
She was left in the shit by other morons, but this half baked deal of hers is not popular with anyone, it's been rejected twice and now she's just trying to bully parliament into accepting it by threatening to push us off the no deal cliff.

Legally. Im not sure a no deal outcome is even tenable. Britain was in a long term relationship with the EU that was not time limited. The negotiations have been to find a way to get out of that deal. If this exit deal is not concluded, ie ratified by parliament, Surely that means the previous long term deal is still intact and in effect. You cant exit a mortgage for instance by simply stopping your monthly payments?. Nor can you do it by packing out of the house.Originally Posted by Letters

This isn't like a mortgage though, it's more like membership of a club.
We pay our subs, we get certain benefits for that but we also have certain responsibilities as a member.
Article 50 was us giving notice that we want to leave the club, as is our right.
It's like trying to leave Sky. You stop paying them, they stop the TV service.
Brexiters thought that we could keep watching the channels without paying the fees.
Others thought we didn't need to watch the channels.
Truth is we actually do need a lot of those channels so we will have to find a way of continuing to watch them, Parliament hasn't agreed one so the default position now is Sky cut off our service.
Unless we can agree an extension.
