May's vote tomorrow includes separating the withdrawal agreement with the political declaration, which I didn't think could happen.

    So.
    Basically.
MPs don’t want to leave with no deal or May’s deal or revoke Article 50 or have a second referendum.

This is the biggest clusterfuck ever

They have literally voted against every option on the table and all the ones they made up as they went along this week.
    This honestly is incredible.
I have literally know idea what happens now.

    Jesus wept.

    Huge power struggle.

Shame it’s not about how best to put the Country’s decision to action, but about political (see personal) aspiration.

Whatever political stance you have. It’s pretty fucking obvious, you need to be disgusted with the lot of them.

I voted remain. But the people voted leave. Democracy says leave, deal or no fucking deal. And those who voted for leave will have to accept, as I will (as a remainer) that it may not be green grass that grows.

Then we can set about lynching Farage, Cameron, Crankie, Corbyn and May.

    I disagree.
No one spoke of leaving with no deal.

Sunlit uplands were promised. You deliver that or you don't fucking do it.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

    Ha

In honesty fucking Cameron and his remain team thought it was bagged and tagged. Much like May with her snap election.

    Arrogance of the highest order.

If Corbyn gets anywhere near power we’re double deep anal. Unless you’re on beno’s, then you get half of my house for free. Not that I’ve worked for it or anything.

There was a mandate to leave so I agree that’s the path we needed to go down.
The issues are it’s a long and winding path (#macca) and no one really knows what’s at the end of it.
Some people promised a shining utopia, others said it leads off the edge of a cliff is. The truth is both of those are unlikely and no one really knew.

3 years after the referendum there is good indication that a majority now don’t want us to go to what now looks like any of the likely destinations. So I don’t buy that because you start a journey that means you have to complete it no matter how opinion changes as you go on it. Democracy should always be open to people changing their mind. That’s why we have regular general elections. You don’t just have a one off vote and then that party is in power forever no matter how public mood about them changes. What they can’t do though - or shouldn’t do - is just unilaterally revoke Article 50. That would destroy any last shreds of trust people have in “the system”. But they should seek a new mandate now people know more about what Brexit actually looks like.

I literally can’t believe the mess they are making of this
