Just further confirmation that a second referendum or a general election won’t happen. Farage would continue eating into Tory votes if either occurred. People are so fucking gullible it’s unreal. They’ll swallow any old bollocks again and again, re-packaged and re-sold every single time.

I genuinely don’t understand why this result is seen as such a vindication of Brexit or even hard Brexit.
About 60% or Brexiters want hard Brexit.
Given that about half of people voted for Brexit that is about 30% of people overall
(It’s a pretty fair assumption that no Remainer would want a hard Brexit).
And that’s about the %age of people who voted for Farage.
So...are we going to hard Brexit because a third of the population want that?

There's no mandate for a no deal Brexit. None at all. If the next Tory leader tries it, they will lose a VONC.

Corbyn needs to sort his fucking life out. He himself said that Labour members will set policy. Well, the majority of Labour members and voters want to remain.

What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

Also, UKIP returned zero seats. Lunatics like Batten and the youtube trolls were sent packing.

"Tommy Robinson" didn't even get his deposit back

Yeah. All that’s happened is the UKIP vote has gone to Farage’s new party.
About a third of a 37% turnout voted for him. There is no mandate for anything he wants.

    None at all.

And he had a meltdown on TV yesterday when the presenter suggested that Remain parties got a larger share of the vote.

    He's the fucking worst.

This hard - i.e. 'no deal'- brexit would be totally undemocratic because NOBODY voted for it. The brexit leadership specifically excluded a no-deal brexit and in fact argued for leaving with a deal. The no-deal pushers came after the vote. The have a 0% mandate from the referendum. So I guess that means if people want to push for a no deal, they need to push for a referendum to give it legitimacy.
