Most likely although I didn’t realise his Seat had been Tory before under thatcher until Blair I think won it back.
I don’t know much about this particular MP but if he did call a by election, I’d end up with a bit of respect for him given he would have stood by his principles. A rare breed in politics today sadly as none of them do
