Looks like it will stay PG thenWWE are to launch a new Saturday morning TV programme geared towards children — cementing the company’s recent moves to a more PG friendly product.
The 30-minute show will be called WWE Saturday Morning Slam and feature one wrestling match each week, as well as star profiles, backstage videos and an anti-bullying campaign.
The series will begin on August 25 in the US, with a UK start date still under discussion.
Eric Pankowski, senior vice-president for WWE creative and development, said: “We are very sensitive to the fact that we are speaking to an audience of children.
“Therefore we want to make sure that the content that we put on at 10am on Saturday is appropriate for younger audiences.”

Punk v Angle Wrestlemania 29, make it happen VinceKURT ANGLE has slammed CM Punk, after Punk referred to TNA Wrestling as an ‘indie promotion’.
During a Q&A session with fans, Punk was asked which independent wrestler he would like to see in WWE.
After answering ‘Samoa Joe’, a fan noted that Joe works for TNA.
Punk then replied: “I know. You said indie, didn’t you?”
TNA star, and former multiple-time WWE champion, Angle did not take too kindly to the jibe.
Angle Tweeted: “Punk wants to say TNA is an indie league?
“I was on top in WWE when you were trying to get a job anywhere. It was my choice to go to TNA.
“If I ever see you Punk, hide b*tch!”
