If you play a high line with Mertesacker and Boeteng up against pacey forwards and the full backs absent and playing entirely offensively then you are going to struggle. Lahm should have been deployed as a full back, there were plenty of attacking options for Germany, he wasn't needed. The coach has to take responsibility. Saying that, they won and with better finishing they would have blown Algeria away given they had somewhere between 20 and 30 shots on goal. I think one of the pundits noticed this, can't recall who. The rest of the cunts were beyond belief ignorant. How they have managed to get on TV doing post match analysis is simply incredible. They are utterly clueless, or else they have an agenda that has to be applied regardless of the events.

As for the criticism of Ozil, that most definitely is an agenda. He was excellent last night, it was great to see him running for the whole 120 minutes and looking fresh at the end of it. His positional play was magnificent - as it ALWAYS is. His passing was simple, accurate (for the most part) and effective. He was always finding the space to offer himself as an option. Great performance and the stupid cunts who have been instructed to slag him regardless of what he does can do one.
