Good choice by France to play Griezmann over Giroud. Germans seem to have no width at all. Don't know why Kos is left out but France might have a decent chance here.
Want the Germans to go through simply for Ozil's sake. Needs a bit of a confidence-booster. Plays like a fanny atm. With a WC winners medal he might start to think he's better than Livermore and Huddlestone.

Low isn't a member of the British media so he rates BFG highly. I suspect it's just flu with him rather than a tactical or form based decision.

And whilst I can appreciate why he's gone for Greizemann ahead of Giroud I think that's a major mistake. Greizemann is better as an impact sub when legs get tired and he can run right at people. France are really going to miss Giroud's industry and hold up play.
Still, it's dampened some of my enthusiasm for this match. Was hoping to see some Ozil vs Kosicenly and Giroud vs BFG.

Sakho was brilliant in qualifying, so he has forever earned some Kudos off the back of that. If they sit on the bench it just decreases the chance they (Arsenal players) will kill each other in some sort of poetic ironic way so not overly fussed.
I kind of want them both to lose too, but seeing as they can't, France to go through I guess....
