This is where we've ended up having stuck rigidly to the Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard axis well beyond their sell by dates. There have been several opportunities to develop a young side, tell the media to fuck off and live with it if we didn't qualify to get knocked out of some tournament in the first round with the clapped out gang of failures. No manager has had the balls. The England team is managed by the media in reality and those twats only understand big name hype and chipwrapper circulation, their record proves it. Time Martin Samuel and Neil Ashton we're shown the door by the FA.

Agree with all of that. The daily hell run the FA, they decided who is called.up and who gets banned or fined. Cretins of the highest order.

My praise of Rooney on the last page is a bit sickening considering it's 2015 and not 2010. He was a sublime footballer, playing like a sack of shit right now. But still...Rooney or Kane/Austin/Welbz? It's close.

edit: actually, no I did say he is woefully past his best. Stand by it.

Anyway, no Wilshere no party. Only reason I watch England these days.

Wales officially ahead of England in the FIFA rankings. Ashley Williams has already shown he can handle Rooney. Ramsey would run all over the England midfield and Bale V Jagielka would be funny.
