If Nadal wins his match, there will be two Spaniards whereas del Potro would make it 8 different countries.
Yes, I meant in terms of the sport's profile on the world stage. Having superstars like Sampras, Agassi, and Serena helps the game.

The men's game is perhaps the best ever in terms of depth of quality, so there's no problem on that front.

Nadal will have a scan on his foot tomorrow. He says he's worried he might have to pull out.

I would have to disagree: there is no way that Sampras or Agassi ever had the world exposure that Federer and Nadal have had.
While all answers are responses, not all responses are answers.

No way would he have to pull out, if he did he would have done so yesterday, instead of playing in that match.

Its a bit different. Adrenaline can get you through the match but afterwards the real damage can be seen. Reminds me of when RVP broke his foot scoring v Man Utd in 2007 and he didn't even realise it til after the match and he took his boot off.

Rafael Nadal on Facebook: "Good morning everybody. Yesterday after the match I went to take an MRI at a London hospital. During the match I thought I had something serious but as the match went through the pain got better and thankfully the tests don't show an injury. Today I will practice at 4.30 pm and I'll play tomorrow. Thanks all for the support."
Looks like the all star semi line up will happen
