Guy got it slightly wrong and Mkhi was on the scoresheet.
The year of the Jeff though? With all the focus on AMN could he be the breakthrough star of this season?
Also, Unai's glasses

Is that Leno doing the Daniel Bryan "Yes" salute?

Auba and Laca in the same team Emery seems to like those two together which bodes well, so glad we got rid of that prehistoric dinosaur, might see two goalscoring forwards in the 1st team at last.
Yeah, I’m keen to find a way to fit both of thode two into our starting XI, especially now it looks like we’re keeping Perez on as cover - means we don’t have to be quite as sparing with how we use them across a long season.
It’s not just the direct goal threat either - Laca’s actually surprisingly good at hold-up play, and I’m hoping Auba will do that Henry thing where he drifts wide and gives us a shit-ton of pace down the flanks - something we’ll badly need with no tricky winger...
So could be something like.....
------------Leno------------
Bell----Mav---Sok---Monreal
----Torreira----Ramsey------
-------------Ozil-----------------
Miki--------Laca---------Auba
Something like that. I think Emery favours 4231, so I’m hoping he might go for...
——————Leno——————
Bell——Mav——Sok——Monreal
———Torreira——AMN———
Ozil / Miki—-Ramsey——Auba
——————Laca—————
(Although M-Niles starting ahead of Xhaka is probably too much to hope for!)
The way I see it working is Laca stays more or less central, Auba and Ozil / Miki have free(er) roles and go where the play takes them, and Ramsey either gets forward as an extra forward or drops back as a 3rd midfielder as needed. Maybe rotate Ramsey, Ozil and Mhiki on a 2-game-on, 1-game-off policy to keep Ramsey fit (and give Ozil plenty of holiday time).
As I was replying to Blink on the match post, the match against Boreham Wood, it's "lobsided". So Auba on the left is more forward then who ever's on the right, so he constantly cut inside and Lacazette moves in tandem with Auba. Ozil is slightly more inward to allow Bellerin to bomb forward. And he plays one at the base of midfield, so any of AMN, Ramsey and Ozil can potentially bomb forward.
I prefer the 4231 and would love if AMN started the season. I have a heavy suspicion Emery won't though....
Maybe now it looks Laca is well a part of the plans....the wind might blow the wrong way and he might actually crack a smile.
