He really was. Comes across as a nice enough guy in that video too.
Think he was in the team alongside Rosicky that year we blew it at Birmingham. While we all bemoan the lack of physicality that meant we were rolled over (and still are to this day) too many times away from home, the Dan Smith tackle that fucked his ankle was part of the media narrative of ‘Arsenal don’t like it up ‘em’ that also led to Rambo’s broken leg.
Wenger sadly forgot the fundamentals of British football and got caught up in the romance of creating an all-conquering, team of midgets who could out-football anyone, and it gave the media and the shitkickers all the encouragement they needed to ‘put him back in his place’.

They're delighted with Emery.....hmmmm, maybe they should have not said that, he's done OK but he's hardly been amazing, he probably gets 6 out of 10 for the season.
