    Spot on, if he was good enough clubs would be offering him jobs, Ferguson would have had job offers left right and centre if he hadn't retired when he did and decided to try his hand elsewhere.

    No pal, I'm not butt-burt just feeling vindicated, clearly no clubs thought he was worth a job offer which just supports my viewpoint that he was a very limited manager nobody would want, despite all the claims that there were all kinds of jobs available.

    I 'm delighted for him. Proper professor of the game and hope football benefits from it.

    I do wonder if he has been out long enough to have gained some perspective on the latter part of his managerial tenure...and thus be able to return to management and be great again....
