got to say again, no-one's a winner or blameless but the club in particular really does have questions to answer IMO

Guesswork here, but Ozil is very vocal on Muslim causes. He wouldn't be best pleased at how the sub-human communists in China behave, for example. So Maybe that's where the falling out lies? Don’t think the club have covered themselves in glory really. I get that we need him off the books so we can consolidate our finances, however when he made it clear he wasn’t going to leave, he should still have been involved and made to earn his money.
