On the outset, 3% may seem like a small increase, but its going to add up over the season. I only go to like 3-4 games a season so it won't feel to be a massive difference for me, but the fans who go regularly each week will feel the increase on their wallet.

As long as the money is reinvested into the squad, I'd understand. Hopefully the Ozil signing was a step in the right direction.

@GaryLineker: Tasty and busy weekend ahead. MOTD with Thierry Henry joining us, followed by SPOTY on Sunday. The tasty part starts now, with a curry.

Apperently Barca refused to sell David Villa to us back in January, despite the offer to the club and player being good enough. Gets my hopes up for the January window

John Cross saying Sagna will sign a 2 year deal

Wenger said: “Yes, that could be decided in next two weeks. It looks positive. It would be a great boost, of course.”

The full-back , who is rated at 50-50 of being fit to play at Manchester City, believes he is worth one last big contract at Arsenal after staying loyal to the club.

Mirror Sport understands that big-spending City have tried to sign him TWICE in the past but, while other top names have left, Sagna has stayed and now wants his loyalty rewarded.

Sagna is likely to get around £70,000-a-week to stay with Arsenal showing more flexibility these days when they only used to give over-30s the maximum of a one-year extension.
    Phew !

Would be great and it'd be another sign things are changing at the club.
