We are not real contenders instead, we are perpetual of pretenders.

No Blink, he is not worth the 8 million.
Actually he is.....and as someone has already suggested....one might argue he has been underpaid.

The only stakeholder that matters is kroenke himself as the majority shareholder. When I stated he is worth the 8 million I clearly wasn't saying that from my own viewpoint. I was talking from the point of view of the owner or more accurately, the majority shareholder's viewpoint who lest we forget, is NOT an actual fan of the club in the way you or I are. I think the the manager of this club should be about more than balancing books. I'm not particularly interested in business, not least within football.

The gate receipts and the accounts will tell of demand way exceeding supply still and when Wenger does not make financial sense any more.....Kroenke won't maintain this almost mute persona and veneer of reticence believe me. Certainly not behind the scenes.

Some dude on the French version of BeIn sports said that the only reason Wenger didnt sign Fabregas was that he was till bitter at the way he left the club and implied that Fabregas forced the move and put Wenger under pressure to sell him.

Perfect opportunity to take him back and say:

Win:win, oh but we don't aim to do that anymore
Society is now one polished horde
Formed by two mighty tribes, the bores and the bored.

"After all, it was the Gunners’ goalkeeper who started the move that culminated in Thomas’ crowning glory. It was Lukic who, in injury time, decided to throw the ball out to Lee Dixon rather than lump it long..."

I think I'd find it easier to accept if he didn't sign him as a matter of principle, rather than not signing him because he had misplaced faith in what we already had.

I think Cesc was entirely justified in leaving as can be plainly seen. Wengers methods just aint working. Also heard that Cesc was asking for astronomical wages. Funny as Chelseas wage bill is said to be lower than ours. Hard to believe even with our "socialist" pay scale.

I dont know about the wages bit but the guy was adamant that was the reason. However, why did the club insert a bu back clause in the first place? seems odd.

If thats true then its the most ballsy thing Wenger has done in like 10 years.

Arsenal FC is not Tapas Hotel. Fook that boy.

I was chasing the dragon with Wenger the other day in an exclusive joint in Limehouse and he told me that Fabregas was never going to happen, that Mourinho had courted him since he left Madrid and that a deal with Chelsea had been verbally agreed for some time.
He then went on to tell me he was sweating colours
