I don't think signing a world class DCM is any harder than signing a world class forward, winger, ACM and maybe even a goalkeeper. It needn't take several years either.

I don't even think he needs to be world class. Get a powerful, sensible, committed, tactically & positionally astute ball recycling midfielder with a reasonable short passing range and we would be doing a lot better than we are.

Ozil and Sanchez weren't easy to sign but we pulled it off....unless of course the club are just pretending they don't need one....in which case heaven help us.
