My office space at home is still a fairly acceptable temperature. I've pulled the blind down. The sun has just started to come over this side of the house though so we'll see how things go.

Got a little thermometer in my house that’s reading at 32 degrees. Bloody horrible inside.

Much nicer in the garden. Got the parasol up and have a little breeze coming every now and then.

i'd think hard about that- isn't there another room you can use?

the travelling would be painful - i just literally went outside for about two minutes to take something to the bins and by the time i got back I was frazzled - i've abandonded my office and i'm in the kitchen, it's quite cool there

It's only 5 minutes to the station, the other end it'll be mostly in the shade. If I travel early it should be OK. Getting home could be more painful.
Bit worried about tonight. We're in a loft conversion which gets boiling in the day but cools down quite nicely at night. The boy's room is on the side of the house where the sun is in the evening and it's already boiling in there.
Wondering if there's somewhere else he could sleep
