We also probably could have had 10 mins more and we'd still fail to score. It wasn't the reason why we didn't win tonight.

Since Sunderland were last promoted, their record at the emirates is lose, draw, lose, draw, lose, draw, lose

All of the draws have been 0-0 so if that pattern continues that's the result most likely this evening. Also bare in mind that Sunderland don't need to win, they only need a point to guarantee safety and given that we only need a point to pretty much get third it kind of suggests a result that suits both sides.

Making no claim to clairvoyance, just seemed an obvious result...given the pattern i mentioned, given that Sunderland prior to tonight had claimed 10 0-0 draws and given that we are going through a goal drought
