Personally I like both these players, but Federer has always been loved by the crowd be it Melbourne, Flushing Meadows, Roland Garros or Wimbledon.....he has always been for me just a wonderful artist of the game.
Djokovic is a great player too, makes shots that seem almost impossible and covers the court with such speed and athleticism that someone's it's better to hope he beats himself because sometimes it's impossible to get past him.
Nole must have felt cursed at Flushing Meadows, he's lost more grand slam finals in the US open than any other grand slam and will be relieved as much as anything to get a second title under his belt.
Only black mark for him will be to fail to take the French open title when in poll position, but Wawrinka was brilliant in that match, better than I've ever seen him play in fact.
