Just in case anyone thinks they own property, wrong. It's one of the biggest myths. Even if you have paid the last penny on your mortgage you own nothing and it can be taken from you legally (though not lawfully) whenever the state decides to do so. This is, of course, a criminal act. But the state does not abide by the laws it insists you and I observe under threat of sanctions. Fucking fascists.

The correct procedure would have been for the dodgy corporation concerned to buy land elsewhere and reconstruct the victim's business brick by brick absorbing every last cost, including the cost of advertising the change of address. Instead they have used the court to overwhelm a property owner and rob him of his rights. They will pay compensation for the compulsory purchase (or will they?) but the victim will have this offset by the cost of the court proceedings. The moral of the story, when a corporation comes knocking bend over or you will lose everything.

Last November, a mystery fire gutted the Archway premises, which is alongside White Hart Lane's North Stand. The owners also they have received 'bomb threats'.

Mr Justice Dove said the Josif family trustees had been perfectly entitled to 'fight the appropriation of their land at each stage of the process in a legitimate and proper exercise of their rights.'

But the judge added: 'It follows from my conclusions I am satisfied there was no legal flaw in the process and it was in the public interest that this (purchase order) be made.'

The defeated Josif family members left court without making any immediate comment. They have been ordered to pay the Community Secretary's legal costs.

Both Spurs and Haringey Council applied for part of their costs to be paid by Archway, but the judge dismissed their applications.

That part in bold - just how despicable can you get? Not even the judge would sink to their level.

And so what if the "process" was followed correctly? Is the process lawful and moral? That's the question.

I believe we also got up to some interesting shit during the planning stages for the Emirates. This thing about the "public interest", is it really in the public interest to allow corporations to boot people off their land, build big stadiums and then price the majority of the public out of them?

Fucking corporations. They used to be a non-profit collaboration between the state and the people operating entirely in the public interest. Now they are a law unto themselves with more rights than human beings. Sick society.
