    Why don't one of the lower teams in the PL give someone like Lee Johnson a go instead of hiring the same pub managers like Pulis, Pardew and Moyes? Bristol City are doing well in the championship and they have a good young manager that plays with an identity.

    It's not foreigners that prevent English coaches getting their chance. It's old English coaches.

    Too much money at stake really. Those guys are a good bet to avoid relegation so that’s the only consideration for the pub teams. I have no idea how Fat Sam does it but there’s always an instant upturn in fortunes wherever he goes.

    You seem to be forgetting that Allardyce is a visionary with vision who pretty much reinvented the modern game with his innovative innovation.
