    EFL Cup 2017/2018

English Football League Cup now, which has to be better than all the bullshit names it has been called over the years. Not sure if it even has a sponsor anymore. They've all given up on it and realised how worthless it is.

Villa out yesterday, Chelsea draw Bristol City/Cardiff, Everton get Yeovil and Liverpool travel to Burton Albion.

Is that the league cup? Milk Cup, Rumbelows Cup, Coca Cola Cup etc?

Yep that's the one. Not sure if they made the decision not to get sponsorship or if no one was interested.

You would think they'd have found someone. There's (or was) the Zenith Data Systems Cup which...I'm not even sure what that was, but it had a sponsor.
Stupid competition, should be Championship and below if they're going to keep doing it at all. I have no idea who won it last year. City maybe? Meh.

Yeah I've always felt they should make the League Cup for the Championship and below.

Then get rid of that other shitty cup League 1 and 2 teams compete for as well.

The EFL Trophy (the lower league cup) tried to get Premier teams to enter their youth teams this season but nearly all of the big teams passed on it because of the scheduling.

Chelsea, Everton, Stoke, Sunderland, Leicester, Swansea, West Ham, Southampton and West Brom are in it.

A bit cavernous. But who can blame them for not turning up to watch this completely useless tournament?
If you don’t send this signature to ten people, you will become a Spurs fan.

This cup should be for Championship and below. It holds no value for Premier League clubs except maybe Spurs.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
