We have the players to play a fast counter attacking game but it seems wenger drills it in our players to play slowly. It is why we need a player like giroud up front, because by the time we get the ball to the opponents area their whole team is back defending. Fucking painful to watch at times.
Wenger obviously believes, after all this time, that patient probing in an attempt to string together 793,292 moments of technical brilliance and walk the ball into the net is what will prevail over the course of the season.
