Yes, yes, as sport goes, Buffon was way out of line. But how does he get to that level of rage in the first place? It's the institutionalised cheating which is rapidly becoming the main deciding factor in the game. Cheating players (including Buffon), cheating refs, cheating owners, cheating gamblers, cheating football authorities. Get the cynical cheating out of the game and that will lower the emotional excess and restore the sporting tradition.
