Spurs did really well against the best team in Europe, oh how the mighty have fallen, we're nowhere now and watching our greatest rivals historically getting the results we should be getting.
Tell you what though, whereas when we were in it in recent times we knew it would be over come the last 16, Spurs fans probably fell confident they can progress, takes the boring repetitive stuff out of the competition for fans of the club, had no interest in the CL when we were in it and don't miss it because we pretty much know where it all ends before we've even started.
Amazing how a team can be so predictably limited, even the like of Leicester did better and weren't as predictable as we were, quite a skill to guarantee you'll get knocked out at the last 16 every single season you qualify.
