Liverpool have won one game since their cup final against us. Back to the mid-table pubbers they are now that they have more than one game a week. At least they'll turn up against United. And then pub it up until they play one of the big teams again.

I genuinely don't know. One minute he looks assured, the next minute we concede the worst goal in history. Plus he has Sakho's problem that he runs like someone playing QWOP so never looks in control, even when he is. We haven't looked defensively assured since our peak under Rafa, and we've been through scores of defenders and 4/5 managers since then. I guess the one thing you can say is that in that time we have either been shite or gung-ho going forward so it's difficult to tell. Our goalkeepers are dodgy, our right backs are kids and our left back is fucking Moreno for God only knows why. I'd rather see Milner back in there if only because he has a brain, and maybe Clyne wasn't actually that bad afterall.
