It shows you how poor our transfer policy has been. Salah was a player well within our budget and our capabilities to purchase - just like Suarez & Coutinho before him.
Salah's instinct to dribble and take on his man would have been nipped in the bud right away.
Salah would have been told to run sideways instead of forward.
Nevertheless the point is that the whole thing about "money" being a limiting factor I've seen being argued by Letters is bollocks.
The players are out there and with the right transfer strategy and coaching can be made into the world superstars.
