They won't defend like Roma. I mean they'll actually defend. But positive, fast and forward looking football is still what we need because that other thing we do, the tip tap, is a certain recipe for a loss. Trouble is, Wenger hasn't actually left yet so we'll start with the wrong tactics and have to make our way from there.

We don’t have anywhere near the same guile and inclination to make quick, direct passes. Not to mention the pace of Liverpool’s front three and the individual brilliance of someone like Salah. We haven’t really got the players to replicate their approach in all honesty, our players are wired in a completely different way.

It’s probably going to be scrappy but hopefully we give it a good go and don’t shit ourselves. That’s the main difference between us and Liverpool, they don’t have any fear and that allows them to play with so much freedom. I’m hoping the Wenger news has at the very least inspired them to play with the shackles off.

I know we don't have the players like Liverpool, speed of player or players like Salah. But I think we can try to replicate the attitude. We do have some good players like Ozil and Ramsey is decent. Welbeck tries hard.

Even if we had the players to do it, Atletico won't be as dumb as to play a high line against us at the Emirates like Roma did at Anfield. They'll sit back and attempt to soak up the pressure .... it's what they specialise in.

but if you do play quick positive football any team can get rattled by that. we have to be quick out of the traps. Cant afford a slow start against a quality team.
