    It's back!

Why am I little bit excited?

I mean the first game will probably set the trend with four disallowed Leicester goals, United avoiding three clear red cards and Youngy/Rashy diving without punishment. All while Mike Dean dances in self-satisfaction in the centre circle knowing he's just added another farce to his collection.

    Fuck this shit tbfh.

I think it's because we don't know exactly how our season will end.

I could do without us conceding at least three goals on the opening weekend, again though.

Someone did a scientific analysis of luck in the PL and Man U came out as the most lucky or should that be 'lucky'? Liverpool the least lucky.

Just what we need, scientists fuelling the ‘woe is me’ scouser narrative.

    Arsenal still fifth

So...we really can judge it at the end of the season?

I'm pretty jaded with football but have to say that while I'm not excited about the new season started I'd say the top 6 positions are fairly unpredictable this year which makes it interesting.

    Carragher.

Feel sorry for the fans below him, they're going to get soaked.
