Patience is needed but we look suspect on set pieces and I have no idea what they were preparing for. Not impressed with our defending for the last two games. Really poor.

I’m giving him a free pass with him this season unless it’s a complete car crash but it’s not been particularly impressive so far.
Early doors and I'll hold off judgment until we have a bigger sample of games to work with, plus I've also given the benefit of the doubt for having the misfortune of playing City and Chelsea right out of the traps.
Doesn't exactly scream of much promise right now though.
Few bright sparks with certain individuals but that's undermined by those non-performers who consistently try to bring the mood down. If Emery wants to be respected he needs to make some big calls. It didn't take long for Pep to turf out Hart and Yaya at City, Emery needs to do something similar and make this squad his own.

I always liked the fact that Wenger didn’t throw his players under the bus in public but it seemed like he didn’t do it in private either, players who weren’t performing got far too comfortable.
Emery needs to sort that shit out.
Wenger simply gave the silent treatment and/or none selection from what I can gather.
