Bring back the home internationals. They were good games. Scotland, Wales and NI would spit blood to beat England, so our players got a proper workout and the England manager (and the other managers) got a proper place to try out new players and see if they could deal with opposition getting in their faces. The matches were played with passion, unlike the friendlies which are a complete waste of time.

GOAL - Wales 4-1 Republic of Ireland
    Shaun Williams

The comeback is on! Wales are so completely comfortable that Aaron Ramsey tries to be too clever outside his own box and loses his balance, Shaun Williams nicks the ball off him and dinks it over Wayne Hennessey. A lovely finish to be fair.

    Ramsey rubberlegs.

Blame the Scottish fans for the home internationals stopping - I think. I saw footage of Scottish fans running onto the pitch and just clambering all over a goal post until it snapped. Bloody thugs the lot of them, they can't handle a grown up competition, yet when they go abroad everybody thinks they're wonderful and English fans are trash. Given that the last major competition they got to was 20 years ago, how would they know?

    Scotland 0-4 Belgium.

At least that's just a regular old friendly.

England home games are usually on terrestrial TV, but not friendlies. England's match is on Sky, so it must be a friendly, don't care what they say, this means nothing other than a friendly!
