Iwobi's magic.
Iwobi's magic.
Actually thought this was the most cohesive and convincing league game yet.
Still not convinced. Watford had a too many opportunities to win the game and besides that sitter Laca missed earlier, we looked quite toothless. In the final third we started to run out of ideas. A win is a win though. I wasn't expecting to pick up all 3 points the way the game was going.
I don't like the formation or Ramsey thing or Aubas position entirely but this was more convincing than the others we've won.
I'm not sure. Watford are a good organised side on form and the best of the bunch in terms of the teams we have beat. I know that doesn't say much. But this is the first game I've watched where I thought we didn't have enough to score. Took an own goal and we left it quite late. Watford had some good chances throughout the game. Late on chances before we scored.
Maybe'convincing' isn't the right word. Convinced of what?
The most convincing not necessarily convincing. Laca had 2 very clear cut chances... both of which he should have scored. I’d score the chip with my eyes closed on my weaker foot! Had he done so it would have been a different game sooner. I’ve watched Watford batter Spurs and United already this season so they are tough opponents and are this high in the table on merit.
My bad.... they didn't beat United but did give them a tough game.
