NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
Shit this is tomorrow night. All the days have merged.
4-4.
4-1.
I cannot see us getting anything out of this game. They have conceded 7 goals in 19 and have such a potent attack its really difficult to see anything other than a convincing home win.
We really miss Holding and Bellerin (and Mustafi to a certain extent). If we play Koscielny i can see us getting hammered.
Also: Litchsteiner against Mane/Robertson down our right gives me nightmares.
Ozil definitely out with a 'knee problem'.
I know he can be a bit of a pussy in the big away games but he is still our best playmaker and the way Emery has handled him has been very disappointing. I'd understand if we had better options but ffs Iwobi is being regularly picked ahead of Ozil and that cannot be allowed to happen. Who is gonna create for us tomorrow? We couldn't even open up Brighton once Ozil came off, how does Emery expect to threaten the best defence in the league?
IMO the Ozil situation could have been dealt with much better. Emery can find a way of fitting in Ozil without changing his tactics/formation.
Ozil’s had teachers pet approach under Wenger and was just as flakey. Fuck that guy. If he can’t handle the expectation of the type of game Emery wants to play then he’s a liability. And let’s face it, what use would he be in a big game? It makes no difference if he’s on the pitch or not - he never turns up. Bellerin is a far bigger miss than Ozil. Hopefully Ozil is gone in a few weeks.
I didn't think Kos was too bad against Brighton.... but d still rather not see him. Is Mustafi back yet? Suppose he won't be ready even if he is..
Well Merson has predicted a 3-0 Liverpool win might not be too wrong
