Also it’s so galling seeing the Prem clubs do well in the CL while we lose again to some shite in this.

Only just seen the result - not remotely surprised
Emery
Sokratis
Mhiki
Arsenal
Britain is better than Europe
Us
Just seen that drunk freak Adams claim we’re a bigger club than Juve.
Somehow I think Ramsey will have no regrets mate.
What I dont understand about this team and its been the case almost in my adult memory now that once we go a man down we ALWAYS fall to pieces. It doesnt matter if we are playing Wycome Wanderers, Burton Albion, or Villareal. Its as predictable as clockwork.

Make 2mrw better than 2day
I don't think Emery's decisions helped either. Mhiki at RB for the rest of the game when AMN was on the bench. Ozil kept on in the 2nd half when we should have played 4 across midfield to try and frustrate them. Instead we were completely open and allowed them chance after chance.
We did get to the semi-final last year
And that was with the Worst Manager in Football ™
We are making a mess of things this year but I reckon we’ve a chance of progressing.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m pissed off about the result but there are some hints that things are a bit better this year.
We are very much in the hunt for a top 4 finish and while I think we will probably fall short, this time last year there was already no chance.
In brief, I think we are heading in the right direction, but slowly.
While Kronke is in charge I can’t see us properly competing for titles.
My instinct is that in terms of getting CL football we've more chance of top 4
i know a lot of people think otherwise but i think there are better teams in the El tihis year than last year, and as our last two away results show we can't win away easily, so i think sooner or later we'll get done in the home tie as well.
Having said that we 'only' need to beat Rennes 2-0 to get through so hopefully we can turn this around - but it means he'll have to wheel out a very good side to make sure which then puts pressure on the selection for the following PL game.
We know the teams in the PL and we seem to be able to raise our game against the big teams, to the point where i'm reasonably optimistic that with a better set of officials, we've a good chance of beating Moan U
if we do it gives us a decent chance of top 4 if we can hold it together - and if we get any kind of notable points lead over Moan U and Chelsea, then if i was Emery i'd definitely prioritise the PL over the EL
