Don't think anyone is arguing that Welbeck isn't a poor striker, he clearly is. Only reason I've ever been in favour of using him is because of his work rate. With Laca and Auba on the pitch we don't need to rely on him for goals anyway.

It’s absurd to think a 19 year old kid with next-to-no experience would be a better option. Yes if he's fit to play a part i'd be happy to see him there, though Emery will have to bear extra time in nind when looking at players who aren't 100% fit
